Forests are the most important natural resources of any country that protection of them has a specialimportant role. The forest fire phenomenon is one of the natural disasters that threatens a large part ofthe forest. Forest fire and its spreading is one the incidents causing major damages for the forests. Dueto the devastating effects of forest fires, it is very important to carry out research using modernmethods to simulate forest fire spread. In this research, an attempt was made to simulate the Golestanforest fire spread based on Cellular Automata, which was used to calibrate linear multiple regression.The results showed that the proposed method in the best case would have a Kappa index, overallaccuracy and the relative operating characteristic (ROC) equal to 0.775, 0.8852 and 0.882, which is theresult of the use of the Von Neumann neighborhood filter and spatial resolution of 5 meters.
