چکیده
Over the years, pastures as a complex and extend ecosystems are managed traditionally and spontaneously. These traditional methods always include all components of an ecosystem and the balance between them, which reflected in form of words and terms used among pastoralists. Therefore, search and knowledge about this kind of local and traditional words which don’t have any specific meanings are important and valuable. Thus, the present study was designed to survey traditional words and phrases which used in pasture management among pastoralists and herdsmen in Iran s central rangelands (west of Isfahan-Iran) in 2015. Information was obtained through objective evidence as well as knowledge from people with experience and elderly of these regions. Findings showed a rich culture in traditional management of animal-plant system and natural ecosystems of this region which are represented in native terms and local words. Over the 130 words and idioms were identified in this region. As treasures of natural science and empirical tune and sync with nature, recording this type of information will always be valuable for managing the natural ecosystems.کلیدواژه ها
