خلاصه مقاله:
A fundamental study concerning the preparation of porous alumina washcoats in Square channel cordierite monolithic catalysts for steam reforming methane (SRM) was performed, focusing on the preparation of monolith, properties, and adhesion of the washcoats. Experimental results show that adhesion of washcoat to cordierite monolithic catalysts depends on binder, pH and solid content. Good adhesion of the porous catalysts, deposited by a two step process, washcoating of γ- Al2O3 followed by the impregnation of the active phase was demonstrated by a ultrasonic test. The catalysts have been characterized using SEM, BET surface area.
