We consider a relay selection (RS) scheme for Two-way relay channel. In this scheme, we select two relays by minimizing the bit-error-rate (BER) of the sources. Each source sends its data sequentially to its selected relay. After that, relays exchange their data and broadcast them to the sources. In this scheme, if the selected relays are the same, relays use physical layer network coding (PNC) to broadcast their received signals to the sources. We have analyzed the BER performance of the proposed scheme and it is verified through Monte Carlo simulation. Results show that the proposed scheme has better BER performance compared to a scheme which uses the Alamouti space-time block coded (STBC) technique.
