چکیده
Introduction: Stroke is the third cause of death in the world after the cancer and cardiovascular diseases.Genetic factors have main significance to got stroke. In this study has been investigated the association betweenangiotensin II type-1 receptor c. 1166 A> C, Paraoxonase p. Q192R, Paraoxonase p. L55M, platelet glycoproteinIIb/IIIa p. L59P, Coagulation factor XIII p. V34L, Coagulation factor XIII p. Y204F, β2-adrenergic receptor p.Q27E variants with stroke in Iranian population. Methods: In this case-control study 206 patients with all kinds of stroke and 210 subjects without any strokehistory as the control group recruited. Levels of clinical data including hypertension, diabetes, ischemic heartattack, low density lipoprotein (LDL), high density lipoprotein (HDL), triglyceride and total cholesterol weredetermined. All kinds of strokes in cases were diagnosed by computed tomography (CT) scans and magneticresonance imaging (MRI). Polymorphisms were assessed by using polymerase chain reaction-restrictionfragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) or ARMS-PCR methods. Statistical analyses were performed usingSPSS software and P-value < 0.05 was considered significant. Results: Base of statistical analysis there were significant association between Paraoxonase p. Q192R,Paraoxonase p. L55M and stroke in Iranian population(P=.023 and P=0.002 respectievly). Conclusion: Paraoxonase p. Q192R and Paraoxonase p. L55M could be considered asstroke risk factors.کلیدواژه ها
