Ranking of 30 Provinces Based on Five Factors Affecting Breast Cancer by Topsis

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that causes many deaths each year among men and women. Despite the many advances that have been made in early diagnosis and treatment for this disease , The most important cause of death due to cancer among women. According to the World Health Organization, every 8 to 10 women suffer from breast cancer. Based on the Iranian Ministry of Health, every 10 to 15 women are likely to have a woman with breast cancer. The incidence of breast cancer in women in Iran is at least a decade less than that of women in developed countries. The difference between the incidence of this cancer in different regions and the variety of factors that contribute to the development of this disease requires the need to study in different places to clarify the role of effective factors. The aim of this study was to investigate some of the factors affecting breast cancer in women and its extent in 30 provinces of Iran.Method:This study was a descriptive survey and data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Validity of the questionnaire has been verified by experts and professors and its reliability has been confirmed by the Alpha Krona Bach.Results and Conclusion: Among the 30 provinces of Iran, Bushehr province is ranked first in breast cancer, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari have the most recent rank in breast cancer. The risk factors we cited here include: smoking, weight, physical activity, the use of fruits and vegetables and the human development index.
