Synthesis Ag/ZnO nanocomposites with different Ag contents and investigation of their photocatalic activity for the removal of crystal violet dye from aqueous environment

چکیده مقاله:
In this reaserch, Ag/ZnO nanocomposites have been successfully synthesized at different Ag contents (4-6-8-10 wt%) by hydrothermal method and used as a photocatalyst. The nanocomposite was characterized by X-ray powder diffiraction (XRD), Fourier transformed (FT-IR) and Scanning electron microscope (SEM). Optimum activity was observed on 8%Ag-ZnO photocatalyst that has better than photocatalytic activity pure ZnO for degradation of crystal violet.
