چکیده مقاله:

Low-velocity impact behaviour of fiber metal laminates (FML) with 430 stainless steel and prepreg glass fiber reinforcedcomposite (G10) was studied. Specimens with different stacking sequences (2/1 type and 3/2 type) were tested by charpyimpact test. Results indicate that the stacking sequences of layers has a significant effect on the mechanical properties ofFMLs, The resulting impact toughness of the FML 2/1 was higher than the FML 3/2. Moreover the behavior of sandwichpanels with FML face sheets were investigated using Charpy impact test.
