چکیده مقاله:

In present research viscoelastic behavior of Polypropylene/Aramid Short Fiber (ASF) /CaCO3 hybrid nanocompositeswere investigated experimentally using dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA). At first stage, polypropylene, hydrolyzedASF and CaCO3 nanoparticles were melt-mixed. Following, the DMTA standard specimens prepared by compression moldingusing hot and cold presses. DMTA standard tests were accomplished in double cantilever flexural mode. Influence of differentreinforcements on the glass transition temperature, storage and loss moduli and damping factor of composites were studied. Results demonstrated a significant enhancement in storage moduli of nanocomposites in a wide range of temperature.Incorporation of ASF decreased glass transition temperature (Tg) of PP. Conversely, Tg was increased by addition of CaCO3nanoparticles. In addition, incorporation of nano-CaCO3 elevated the loss factor and absorbed energy.
