Phytochemical Investigation and Quantification of Some Active Compounds of Scrophularia Striata by Seperation

چکیده

In this research, phytochemical and physicochemical properties of Scrophularia Striata Boiss. Were examined. The plant was collected from Sirjan region in Kerman province, Iran on July 2013 (29.45 ̊ N, 55.67 ̊ E). Three different extracts (in methanol, in acetone and in water) were prepared from plant by maceration for further experiments. The contents of active ingredients like phenol, flavonoid and flavonol, were determined by using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. It was found out that the maximum amount of active ingredients were present in methanolic extracts. Also, its ash was measured by calcinations in a furnace. Then solution of ash was produced to determine the amount of trace and heavy metals. The results showed that the plant is rich in K, Fe, Mn, Ca, Mg and Na. The seven phenolic compounds, which two of them were more stable, with the names 2-ethylhexyl trans- 4-methoxycinnamate and 3-thiopheneethanol were extracted and then were identified by fatty acids were identified by GC. Then another six compounds GC-MS. In continuation of our work, fourteen such as 1, 2-benzenedicarboxylic acid diisooctyl ester, benzo[h]quinoline 2,4-dimethyl and octadecanoic acid methyl ester were extracted from essential oil and identified by GC-MS. Furthermore quantification of some active compounds of Scrophularia striata by separation and chemometrics methods was conducted. Also dibutyl phthalate was extracted from the plant and real samples with dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method and the quantification was performed with UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
