چکیده

In this aper , a method of compression based on Fisher - Information is introduced which is used in TDOA estimation application. The bit allocation of the method is based on Lagrangian Multiplier , which is not computationally efficient , so we have proposed a new method for bit allocation whech is more computationally efficent and its result is very close to the result of the Lagrangian Multiplier method . In addition, by sending only the phase of DFT coefficients instead of the real and imaginary parts of the coefficients we have better accuracy in TDOA estimation at the same compression rate .
