Introduction: Breast cancer is considered the most common cancer among women worldwide and Iranian women. The use of chemotherapy has many side effects. According considered to traditional, herbal and marine treatments. In this article was studied crab shell extract on breast cancer cell line MCF7. Materials and Methods: Crab shell was prepared and extracted. The extract were prepared at doses of 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1000 μg/ml. The crab shell extract dosedependent survival of breast cancer cells and decreased time. The greatest viability cell was reported in 1000 μg/ml and within 72 hours. Results: These results were confirmed for both Trypan blue and MTT method. Apoptosis of breast cancer cells increased in a dose-dependent within 72 hours. So Receipted within 72 hours to about 20 percent by 1000 μg/ml. Conclusion: Crab shell extract reduced cancer cell survival and increased apoptosis of cancer cells. So without side effect can be effective in improving the cancer.
