چکیده

Background: For many years, the criteria for switching blood from infants with severe jaundice to prevent the occurrence of cranicetrosis and the rapid treatment of hyperbilirubinemia has been the maximum total bilirubin serum. Today, the ratio of bilirubin to albumin and its comparison with maximum total bilirubin is a measure of blood transfusion. The purpose of this study is to show the complications of the exchange of blood in neonates Methods: Descriptive analysis and overview methodology. Articles in medical resources were selected in the scientific database of Jihad University using the keywords of Hyperbilirubinemia and blood transfusion, and from among the articles obtained, articles containing original points were selected.RESULTS: The results of the study indicate that the replacement of blood during infancy is uncomplicated. These complications lead to a wide range of clinical and laboratory problems, increase potassium and changes in blood acidity. During the exchange of blood and immediately thereafter, the thyroid hormones are reduced significantly. Various biochemical changes and changes in acid and red blood in the blood of newborn babies are directly related to factors such as the type of blood used and its longevity, and the age of the baby. Changes in the concentration of T3 and TSH in the blood are due to changes in blood transfusion. Conclusion: The potential complications of transfusion are important and include catheter related complications and complications associated with transfusion. The most common side-effects of thrombocytopenia in newborns is the second most common complication of hypocalcemia.
