Modeling and analysis of SCMA network under QoS constraint

Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is a new multiple access technology for the 5G, which can improve spectral efficiency and energyefficiency in comparison with OFDMA networks. In this paper, we model the effective capacity and effective energy efficiency ofSCMA networks. Then, two maximization problem are formulated by jointly considering power allocation and codebook assignment.Simulation results indicate that SCMA networks achieves better rate-energy tradeoff compared to OFDMA networks.
