چکیده

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cause of death in women worldwide, mainly women 45 to 55 years old are affected. There are a lot of risk factors that cause this disease but maybe there are some questions that need to answer such as which factors not related to breast cancer. Material and Methods: A review of research papers and review sites, google, SID, Science Direct, Pubmed With a library of reference books to determine the risk factors for breast cancer and to enhance the customer information and resolve their doubts or concerns about the environment and chemical effects on the body we discuss its impact on the incidence of breast cancer.Articles 2000 to 2012 were reviewed for this study. Results: There are several risk factors, including: age, race, early menarche, late menopause, positive family history of breast cancer, birth control pills longer, be a female, first pregnancy after age 30, Breastfeeding, physical activity drinking alcohol and obesity. Some factors that not related to breast cancer including: Abortion, Environmental pollutants, Bras or underwire bras, Breast implants, Caffeine, Cell phones, Deodorant or antiperspirant use, Electromagnetic fields (EMF), Hair dyes and hair relaxers, Left-handedness and Trauma to the breast. Conclusion: This suggests that first we need improving women knowledge about detection methods for breast cancer: breast self-examination (BSE), medical examination or mammogram and after that train them about risk factors and answer their questions. Maybe due to lack of information, women have fear or anxiety about it.
