In order to study the cis acting elements and protein of DREB6 in Triticum sativum, the genomic sequence of this gene was extracted from NCBI website. The web-based plantCARE, PAIR and Protoparam online software were used to analyze the cis acting elements, protein subcellular localization predictor and protein identification, respectively. The instability index of protein sequence of DREB is computed to be 48.25 and classifies as unstable protein. Although this gene has unstable protein but it has more than 30 hours of estimated half-life.Protein subcellular localizationby PAIR (1) show thatnucleus is the most predicted site for this protein and also show the importance retention signaling of this protein in nucleus. The result of plantCARE (2) show that this gene has specific boxes that contributed in drought tolerance in plant at tension environments. MBS box, TATC-box and TCA-elementhave binding site involved in drought-inducibility, gibberellin-responsiveness and salicylic acid responsiveness, respectively and other boxes highly dependent on stress and light responsive elements (3). The results revealed that this gene has great role in plant to encounter with drought situation because of the presence of boxes that has a direct relation to response at tension environments.
