خلاصه مقاله:
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the process of succession planning and organizational maturity of staff and leadership style of managers in Kohgiloyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province Gas Company. The study objectively is applied and in terms of how to obtain the data is field. The population of this research includes all employees, experts and managers of Kohgiloyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province Gas Company who were 493 people. The sample size was estimated 217 by using the Jersey Morgan table. In this study, random sampling method will be used. In this study, In order to estimate the amount of Succession planning and its dimensions the questionnaire of Mottaqi and Beheshti, for assessing the maturity a questionnaire of Soltani and Bahraminejad and to assess the leadership style a questionnaire of Bass and Avolio were used. The collected data were analyzed by using the spss software. In the descriptive analysis of the data, frequency, frequency percentage, mean and standard deviation were used. Also in the analytical part the Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression were used. The results showed that Organizational factors of succession planning have a positive relationship with human-oriented leadership style, but have no significant correlation with task-oriented leadership style. Individual factors of succession planning have a significant relationship with human-oriented and task-oriented leadership style, while the process aspect of succession planning has a significant relationship with human-oriented leadership style, but has no significant relationship with task-oriented leadership style. The results finally showed that organizational maturity has no significant relationship with managers leadership style. Linear regression analysis also showed that personal factors of succession planning have the most share in predicting leadership style.
