چکیده مقاله:

Cancer is a type of disease in which cells are abnormally and uncontrollably multiplied and can also bind adjacent tissues. Breast cancer is a type of cancer that begins with breast tissue and is the mostcommon cancer In women all over the world. Nowadays, various ways to treat cancer are used. Recently, many of the nanoparticles have been used for drug delivery purposefully to malignant tumorcells by decreasing the systemic toxicity of anticancer drugs. Because of the special physical and chemical properties that they exhibit, silver nanoparticles are mainly used in pharmaceutical andcatalytic applications. Therefore, the synthesis of these particles is important. In fact, silver nanoparticles are considered to be poisonous for pathogens, while they are harmless to the human body. Silver nanoparticles play a role in damaging DNA and triggering a planned cell death (apoptosis). The use of plants to synthesize nanoparticles is one of the most environmentally friendly methods for not using pollutants and toxic substances. Today, plants are used as renewable and inexpensive resources for the preparation of bio-based nanomaterials. Secondary metabolites, enzymes, proteins, or other reducing agents play a key role in the preparation of metal nanoparticles by plants. To evaluate the cytotoxicity of various concentrations of nanoparticles, MTT test is used based on MTT reductionby mitochondrial dehydrogenase of living cells and the formation of color purple formaldehyde. For this purpose, the cancer cells will be exposed to various concentrations of the nanoparticle and after adifferent time (24h,48h,72h) , the formazan content will be measured 4 hours after adding MTT at 570 nm using plate reader. The percentage of cell proliferation is calculated from the following formula:OD sample / OD control × 100. cytotoxicity of silver nanoparticles on breast cancer cells (MDA) Synthesized by Amaranthus cruentus showed was able to inhibit MDA cells with IC50 values of 250,200 and 150 μg/ml at 24, 48 and 72 hour-time, respectively. We suggest that the Synthesized silver nanoparticles by Amaranthus cruentus in this study as a biocompatible nanoparticle may be able toprevent cancer.
