چکیده مقاله:

colorectal cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers in different countries, including Iran. The incidence of this cancer in recent years has increased in world because of changes in lifestyle and diet.Since the main infrastructure planning and policy for the prevention, screening, early detection, treatment, etc , is a comprehensive information system, we decided to study the epidemiology of thiscancer in the population covered during the period 2011 to 2015 consider Isfahan University of Medical Sciences .This study was a cross-sectional study, and all patients with a definite diagnosis of colorectal cancer in 2011 to 2015 years in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences that has been recorded in the national cancer registry . The results of this study show that During this years 1964 known cases of colorectal cancer in the population covered by Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in the national cancer registry records of which were (43.7%) 859 women and (56.3%) 1105 men. Themean age of patients in the 4 years was 61. the most common pathological form was adenocarcinoma with (85.8%) 1686 and after mucinous adenocarcinoma with (6.6%) 130. the incidence of this cancer within 4 years of progressive and average age this cancer within 4 years was 61. Of all colorectal cancer patients contain 62.8% colon cancer,27.8% rectal cancer,7.2% rectosigmoid cancer and 2% anal cancer
