چکیده مقاله:

Plant-derived compounds have been an important source of several clinically useful anti-cancer agents. These include vinblastine, vincristine, the camptothecin derivatives, topotecan and irinotecan, etoposide, derived from epipodophyllotoxin, and paclitaxel (taxol®). A number of promising new agents are in clinical development based on selective activity against cancer-related molecular targets, including flavopiridol and combretastin A4 phosphate, while some agents which failed in earlier clinical studies are stimulating renewed interest. In this paper, we examined the presence of some chemicalcompounds that have an effect on the development of anticancer activity in the ginger plant. These tests were performed with the help of chemical reagents and colorimetric methods, which are describedin detail. In this study, it was found that ginger contains phenolic, flavonoid, alkaloid, and terpenoids, Considering the increasing growth of cancer in the country and taking into account the unique role ofmedicinal plants in the treatment of diseases and cancer, and the need for the world s pharmaceutical communities to cheap drugs and with appropriate efficacy in the treatment of this disease, it is desirable that our beloved Iran, given the The rich history of medicinal plants and the use of therapeutic properties of herbs provide high effectiveness drugs and less side effects for diseases like cancer, inshort, this study showed that the extract of this plant has effective compounds And with beneficial properties, for example, the presence of tri-tropenoid compounds that are antioxidants And it can be used to develop anti-cancer drug it.
