Background and Objective: Violence against women is one of the important issues of public health and human rights issue In recent years the focus on intimate partner violence in pregnancy Due to its prevalence and adverse consequences on their health is taken into consideration The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of domestic violence on pregnancy outcome in pregnant women Thereby suitable suggestion such as: employee empowerment, community health centers for screenings Diagnosis and management of domestic violence against pregnant women and women s education in domestic violence ground of appeal.Materials and Methods: In this study, using English and persian keywords related to the topic and Systematic search of articles in valid. At this stage, 40 articles were obtained and summarySelected papers were into article database.After deleting and re-analyzing them non-related, in the end, 13 papers in English from the negative effects of violence in pregnancy is possible that there was used for the final evaluation. Findings: Pregnancy outcomes as a result of domestic violence can be divided into two categories:1-Mother of adverse outcomes, including increased rates of hospitalization, higher rates and increased bleeding after cesarean delivery, and postpartum depression and reduce maternal and infant affective communication, and preterm premature rupture of fetal membranes (less than 37 weeks) placenta previa, premature separation of the placenta and can be a threat to abortion. 2-Adverse fetal outcomes including low birth weight (less than g2500), fetal distress, stillbirth and neonatal death, neonatal care, neonatal admissions is increasing.Conclusion: Domestic violence during pregnancy is a common problem and a history of violence as a warning about it. Given the high prevalence of violence in international studies and adverse maternal and fetal outcomes and communication skills, and selecting adaptation behavior replaced Faced with situations of violence and community support be important steps in preventing or reducing violence against women is pregnant.
