چکیده مقاله:

This research was conducted during a period from December 2013 to September 2014 seasonally and in order to identify the large crab fauna of the tropical region of Hara forest in Hormuz districts. For sampling, a 30-meter perpendicular trans-section was determined. During this transect, three high, intermediate and low tidal zones were identified at maximum tidal time. The samples were then collected and packaged from these three areas and transferred to the university s research laboratory for photographic and taxonomic studies. In the laboratory, after examining the samples based on the identification keys, and valid sources, the species were Metopoges messor, Metopograps thukuhar, Pilumnopeus convexus, Leptodius exaratus, Epixanthus frontalis, Thalamita crenata, Portunus segnis, Macrophthalmus depressus, Uca iranica, Dotila blanfordi, Nanosesarma sari. Among these species, the Uca iranica from the family Ocypodidae had the highest frequency with a frequency of 1.65 and was the dominant species of mangrove forest that has been observed in all seasons. Two species of Macrophthalmus depressus and Metopograpsus thukuhar had the lowest frequency of 0.16% and only once seen in the spring.
