In this paper, we introduce a number of genetic algorithms and their applications in optimization problems. Customized genetic algorithms have been demonstrated to be particularly effective to determine excellent solutions to these problems. We show that these methods are applicable and quite efficient in tackling with complicated dynamic models using MATLAB toolbox.
