خلاصه مقاله:
In this article, we studied and compared the mechanical properties of 0.5, 0.1, 1.5 wt% added highly expanded graphite and graphene nano sheets to epoxy resin including tensile, impact and bending properties. It was observed that, addition of nanoparticles to epoxy resin significantly increased the mechanical properties. At the same time, increase in the tensile, bending and impact strength in epoxygraphene nano-composite showed a superior enhancement than epoxy/highly expanded graphite nano-composite. Morphological investigation revealed that, higher mechanical properties can be correlated to higher aspect ratio and, consequently, higher quality of dispersion of graphene platelets
