خلاصه مقاله:
The aim of study was to prepare and apply molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) nano particle as a selective sorbent inmatrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) for eugenol from Clove oil. Then, a simple, sensitive and precise gaschromatographic method for the analysis of eugenol in alcoholic and aqueous extract of clove was used. Eugenol is amajor constituent of clove essential oil; that is an organic phenol compound with antipyretic, analgesic, antiinflammatory, anesthetic effects, antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, insect repellent, and anticancer activities.Minimizing eugenol side effects, with low toxicity, and non-metabolized residue, eugenol has wide application in foods, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, cosmetics and dentistry. Eugenol is highly sensitive to light, temperature andair, which can limit its application and bioavailability. In this study, eugenol Molecular imprinted nanoparticles(MINPs) synthesized that is not toxic and is resistant to light, temperature and air as one possible alternative to the useof the eugenol. MINPs account for the large drug loading capacity and slow drug release behavior as drug carriers. The MINPs was prepared by precipitation polymerization using eugenol as a template, methacrylic acid (MAA) as thefunctional monomer and trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TRIM) as the cross-linking agent and acetonitrile asprogen. The obtained MINPs, 50 nm, had smooth surface and favorable dispersibility. The linearity of the developedmethod was tested in the range of 200 ng/mL-1000 ng/mL for eugenol, limit of detection was found to be 64.31 ng/mLand the percentage recovery was 98.1%. At neutral pH, the best conditions existed for the formation of the hydrogenbonding between functional groups of binding sites and template molecules. The drug-loaded nanoparticles wereprepared via dynamic adsorption. The binding amount of the polymers increased gradually with increase of eugenolinitial concentration.
