Flower-shaped ZnO @ Score/shell nanoparticles synthesized by cysteine modified method and its application as a barrier creams to treat diaper rashes

چکیده مقاله:

ZnO nanoparticles are common constituent of personal care products including cosmetic and sunscreen. Several ZnO-NPs as products are utilized to treat skin conditions in powder such as barrier creams to treat diaper rashes, mineral cream, anti-dandruff shampoos and antiseptic ointments. On the other hand, sulfur has an antifungal and antibacterial activity. Due to the special properties of ZnO coating and antibacterial , antimicrobial properties of sulfur ,preparation of a combination like ZnO @S Nanocomposite that have both great properties at the same time ,can open a new perspective in different industries. In this research, ZnO used as a core and cysteine modified nanosulfur used as shell. For synthesis of ZnO@ S, 0.08 g of ZnO was homogenized in 10 ml of ethanol by homogenizer.on the other hand 0.08 g of sulfur cysteine powder was dispersed into ethanol via ultrasound treatment. The sulfur solution was added dropwise into ZnO/ethanol solution under homogenizing process. The nanoparticles were separated from the resulting solution by centrifuge, and then sample was dried in desiccator.
