چکیده

In this communication, the effect of input current andfrequency of the power supply on the net pumped volumeare investigated and the performance curves of themicropump are extracted. We present this novel micropumpin our previous paper, and an optimal model was presentedthere. The micropump works based on periodicallyoscillation of a magnetorheological elastomer actuatedusing sinusoidal time-dependent magnetic field. Fluctuatingwall propels fluid toward two terminals and the valvesrectify backflow and generate one-direction fluid flow. Afully coupled magneto-fluid-solid interaction method isused to simulate the process, numerically. Effect offrequency and input current on the net transported volumeare examined, and characteristic curves of the micropumpare extracted for the operating frequency and input current.The result shows that this micropump can work well in thedifferent range of frequency and input current.
