چکیده

Nowadays advertisement is one of the crucial factors of commercial and marketing activities. Different types of advertisement exist and people are presented via numerous media in order to get the advertising information. Urban advertising is one of the most important principals of advertising knowledge and one of the factor elements of urban landscape in human habitation as it is known an impartible part of urban framework. Therefore today s cities are full of colorful banners and every mean presented in cities are used to advertise. Among this, city furniture which takes a significant place in a city is used as an important advertisement area in which graphic design products are applied. It is also thought that city furniture is needed to be designed by being associated to other life sustaining and environmental factors. This article focuses on usage of urban furniture in city advertisement, as different city furniture is used as printed advertising media and broadcasting advertising media (stable and animated). Therefore following a brief review of urban advertisement and furniture, the most useful and adaptable urban furniture for advertising is identified and different examples of them are considered.
