خلاصه مقاله:
The aim of this work is modification of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to evaluate the ability of MWCNTs as green solid sorbent for extraction and preconcentration of small quantities Zn2+ ion in different samples. For this purpose, the MWCNTs have been functionalized, then magnetized and its properties were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analyses. Actually the magnetized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) used as adsorbent for determination and preconcentration of Zn2+ ion in solution. In this method 8-hydroxyquinoline has been used as ligand. Several factors that affecting the adsorption, preconcentration and extraction the small quantities of Zn2+ ions on this adsorbent have been investigated and also this green solid adsorbent was used for determination and preconcentration the trace amounts of Zn2+ ion. This green solid adsorbent has many advantages toward other adsorbents that commonly used in solid phase extraction (SPE) [1, 2]. Some of these advantages are easy operation and less time-consuming. In fact the MMWCNT carries the target element that its complexes formed in solution by 8-hydroxyquinoline. Furthermore extraction of the target element from aqueous solution can be done easily by using of magnetic without need to filtration and centrifuging. So can be say using this type of adsorbents lead to reduction of extraction time [3].Specific Pathogen Free eggs (SPF-eggs) are used for the production of many veterinary and human vaccines. As mentioned in EP standard the SPF-eggs must be free of certain antigens and antibodies. Utilizing the SPF–egg guarantees the absence of the external factors (extractor agents) in human and animal vaccines. The international quality standards recommend using of the SPF-eggs in the production of many human and animal vaccines. So, this product is one of the strategic raw materials that is required in production of biological products [4]. By considering the importance of this product so, we use of it as one of the real samples.After extracting and collecting of MMWCNTs containing the analyte by magnetic, the analyte was separated from MMCWNT by washing of solution. The analyte concentration was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry method. In order to determination of Zn2+ ion by atomic adsorption spectrometry, first the optimization of effective parameters such as pH, ligand and MWCNT amounts and extraction time have been done
