Investigating the Relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and Organizational Agility in Teachers (Case study: the girls primary schools of Saveh city)

The present study has investigated the relationship between dimensions of teachers spiritual intelligence and organizational agility in Saveh city in academic year of 2015-16. It is a correlational research in used methods view point and an applied research in purposes view point. Statistical population of the study was all of girls primary schools teachers of Saveh city in academic year of 2015-16 which included 392 people based on Cochran formula. Among them, 109 people were selected as a sample and were asked to answer to the questionnaires spiritual intelligence and organizational agility . The tools of study included King Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2008) and Organizational Agility Questionnaire of Goldman et al (2011). The spiritual intelligence questionnaire has been provided by Kong in 2008 which includes 24 items and 24 articles and its purpose is to measure different dimensions of spiritual intelligence (critical thought, personal meaning production, expanded state of consciousness, transcendental consciousness) based on five-item Likert. The Cranach s alpha coefficient was used to estimate the reliability of spiritual intelligence questionnaire. The coefficient was equal to 0.84 for critical thought component, 0.80 for personal meaning production, 0.74 for transcendental consciousness, 0.80 for expanded state of consciousness and 0.95 for whole of the questionnaire. In addition the internal consistency of organizational agility questionnaire was obtained 0.96 by means of Cranach s alpha coefficient. The coefficients were used in main samples performed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic tests (to evaluate the normality of data distribution). Spearman correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used to examine the research hypotheses. The twentieth edition of SPSS Software was used for this purpose. Finally, it was found that spiritual intelligence has relationship with organizational agility.
