Cost reduction is considered as one of the criteria for access to competitive advantage and gain the organizational excellence. In the present research, Iran Khodro Company was selected as the case study. The sample group consisted of 65 individuals (58% men and 42% women). SWOT technique has been used to evaluate the research dimensions. Software SPSS has been used to analyze data. In the present research, in addition to study on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in Iran Khodro Company, these points and the results related to them were compared with the approaches in the leading Carmaker companies. In the end, the researcher proposed the results based on the final suggestions at organizational levels.
