خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents the effect of rotor shape on cogging torque in permanent magnet flux switching machines. Six variables in rotor geometry were defined while he values were changed in acceptable range to make a sensitivity analysis. Two dimensional finite element modeling has been used to achieve precise results. The analysis shows that the rotor geometric shape has very important role in the cogging torque value. It is also concluded that the simple common shape of the rotor in flux switching machines is not an appropriate option to achieve low value of the cogging torque. At the design step, the rotor shape should be included as a very important parameter
