Pd catalysts with two type of support (bulk and Nano sized) have been synthesized and studied for the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohol over solvent-free condition by H2O2. Good activity as well as high selectivity to benzaldehyde can be achieved. Supported Pd catalysts before benzyl alcohol oxidation are characterized by means of XRD, FE-SEM. The results obviously show that Nanocatalyst/bulk CaO have no distinct difference rather than Nanocatalyst/ Nano sized CaO in the benzyl alcohol oxidation reaction
