خلاصه مقاله:
CO2 capturing from emission sources is today environmental challenge faced the world. Mitigation of energy requirement for capturing step is the ultimate target of carbon capture and sequestration(CCS) technology. Different capturing processes have been proposed in the literature such as absorption, cryogenic, membrane, adsorption andchemical looping. In this paper the potential of cryogenic technology to obtain an efficient post-combustion carbon capture from flue gases havebeen investigated. Of concerns of cryogenic process, pressure levels of 6, 8 and 10 bar, temperature of 273, 283, 293, 303 and 313 K and fourlevels of 50%, 65%, 80 and 95% for CO2 concentration were selected. Finally, it can be concluded that the higher pressure, the lowertemperature and higher inlet CO2 concentration result in lower cryogenic energy. Cryogenic technology can be proposed as future energy saving methods
