This study presents application of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) optimization technique to select the optimum SOx estimation control strategies for power station boiler in Kuwait. In this case different alternatives based on technical, environmental, political and economical criteria and subcriteria have been studied. Comments from ? expert peoples have been collected to build weighing tables. By applying AHP procedure importing natural gas was found as the optimum choice of power plant fuel.
