چکیده
Contamination of water by toxic heavy metals through the discharge of industrial wastewater is a worldwide environmental problem. Heavy metal toxicity can result indamage or reduced mental and central nervous functions, lower energy levels and damage to other vital organs. Lead isan important pollutant introduced into natural waters [1]. Removal of heavy metals is an important problem especially in industrial effluents. Various treatment technologies havebeen developed for the removal of heavy metals from water and wastewater. The commonly used technologies forremoving metal ions from effluents include chemical precipitation, lime coagulation, ion exchange, solvent extraction and adsorption using activated carbon, electrodeposition and membrane process [2]. The electrospinning technology has attracted a growing scientific interest . In electrospinning processes, electrostaticforces are applied to stretch a polymer jet and produce continuous fibers with diameters ranging from nanometers [3.
