خلاصه مقاله:
The elastomeric foams are widely used for vibration isolation, as a material for kinetic energy dissipation and as padding to separate neighbouring components in electronic consumerproducts that may experience accidental impact loads [1]. The crushable foams are generally applied in the automotiveindustry to prevent injuries to the occupants in the event of front or side collisions [2]. In this paper, the microstructures of the elastomeric Ethylene Propylene Diene Methyle (EPDM )and the crushable foams, Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) and Poly Urethane Rigid (PUR), are studied after static and lowvelocity impact loadings instantly. The EPP and PUR are prepared from the bumpers of PEUGOET and PRIDE, respectively
