خلاصه مقاله:
The purpose of this study is to find a mathematical model for polymeric system of isothermal pervaporation for water/ethanol/polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Based on thesolution- diffusion theory and by means of using apparent diffusion coefficients, component fluxes, total flux as well asselectivity are calculated. Also the effects of fluxes coupling on mass transfer are considered. Furthermore, the effects of feed temperature on pervaporation performance areinvestigated. Finally, for validating the proposed model, the computed results are compared with experimental oneswhich were reported earlier by Raisi et al. [1].
