چکیده مقاله:

Over the last years, several works have been conducted on the preparation of CNT/organic gel composites through polymerization of the monomers in CNT suspensions [1].However, due to their hydrophobic nature and strong van der Waals interactions, CNTs often exist in liquid media asaggregates that decant progressively [2]. In addition, destabilization phenomena can also occur via composition change, by adding other reagents or during polymerization, orby altering the temperature; this generally results in inhomogeneous materials. Microscopic and spectroscopy methods which have been extensively employed to characterize the CNT distribution state, are rarely representative of the studied material and limited to lowconcentration suspensions (<0.05 w/v%). The goal of the present work is to show the pertinence of X - ray microtomography to investigate the homogeneity of CNTs in liquid suspensions and in CNT-containing resorcinol– formaldehyde (RF) gels prepared by polymerization of theprecursors in CNT aqueous suspensions
