خلاصه مقاله:
In order to increase the impact strength of a brittle polymer,elastomeric particles are usually incorporated in the composite formulation, but at the most basic level, rubber particles act asstress concentration area [1]. This is because of incompatibility between elastic part and matrix, whichaccelerate shear yielding in the matrix under the wide range ofloading conditions [1]. To avoid this problem, core-shell particles with rubbery core and a compatible shell could beused instead of bare rubbery particles. The shell of modifier functions as a layer that physically binds the matrix to therubber core. In order to obtain the core-shell impact modifier technology, one should have the technical viewpoint of emulsion polymerization process
