چکیده

Magnetic composite hydrogels containing different amounts of graphene oxide (GO) were prepared and used as adsorbents for a cationic dye, crystal violet. The results showed that the synthesized composites can effectively adsorb dye from water. It was found that GO-containing hydrogels showed higher adsorption in comparison with the one without GO. Dye adsorption was enhanced by increasing the amount of GO content. Because of its magnetic properties, the synthesized adsorbents can be easily separated from water by using a magnet
