Freeze-drying is extensively used for fabrication of porous materials in tissue engineering and biomedical applications. In this method, the freezing step is very important in order to produce desirable porous structures. Different conditions of freezing have a great impact on the resulting pore structure of the materials. In this work,modified freezing drying method was applied to preparation the scaffolds. Recrystallization process was discussed how to influence the mean pore size of the scaffold when the final freezing temperature varied
