خلاصه مقاله:
Different formulations of Epoxy coatings containing nanoparticles of halloysite were successfully applied on steel substrates and cured at room temperature. The adhesion and mechanical properties of coating films were characterized by pull off tests and atomic force microscopy (AFM), respectively. TEM was taken to study the effectsof nanotubes implementation in polymer substrate on the final morphology of samples. It was concluded thathalloysite nanoparticles had drastic effects on the coating matrix microstructure formation. Furthermore, enhancement of adhesion properties and Young s modulus of the epoxy coating were achieved by halloysite nanoparticles incorporation
