چکیده مقاله:

In this work PA6 was prepared in an internal mixer via anionic ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactam as a monomer with Sodium Caprolactam(Na-CL) as its catalyst and Hexzamethylene diisocyanate(HDI) or Toluene diisocyanate(TDI) as an activator. PA6 nanocomposite was prepared by in-situ polymerization in presence of nanoclay during anionic polymerization. The experimental results showed that the composition which included 1.5% of catalyst and 1.5% of activator gave better properties than the other formulations. Afterward 1 and 3 percentages of nanoclay were added to this formulation. Rheological measurement was used to determine the molecular weight of the PA6 samples. Structures of the samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. Fractured surface of samples was investigated by an atomic force microscope (AFM). To study the mechanical properties of samples, tensile and impact analysis were carried out. Furthermore experimental results showed that high quality nanocomposites were obtained with the least amount of activator, catalyst and nanoclay
