Several polyurethane elastomers were synthesized by a conventional crosslinker and two pseudo generations of hyperbranched polyester polyol (HBPE) as newfangled crosslinking agents. The transport behavior of these networks was studied by sorption experiment using a very aggressive aromatic solvent. As a result of the high degree of crosslinking and low sorption capacity, the permeabilty of hyperbranched polyurethanes (HBPUs) was much lower than that of the conventional PU network, but the differences in penetration rate were not notable
