Stochastic Modelling of Crystallization Process of Polymers

The aim here is to introduce and discuss spatially probabilistic models for geometrically complex microstructures, namely the Boolean model, the germ-grain model and the Johnson-Mehl tessellation. All of these models are the subset of more general model, the so-called birth-and-growth process. The aim is step by step moving toward modelling the crystallization process with some logical but restricted assumption on the real crystallization process.
