In this study starch as biopolymer, polyethylene in the presence of titanium dioxide nanoparticles produced nanocomposites with biodegradable and anti-microbial properties. Biodegradable composite construction in recent years has caused extensive studies in the field of optimization and more practical to them. Biopolymer materials reduces the mechanical properties of the sample. But the addition of nanoparticles to help improve these properties. In this study, nanoparticles of titanium dioxide to the composite polyethylene / starch was added and mechanical properties and antimicrobial properties of these nanocomposites were studied.
