In this study quantum dots nanocomposite hydrogels was synthesized by free radical polymerization based on sodium alginate and acrylic acid followed by in situ coprecipitation of CdS and ZnS. The photocatalytic activity of the QD nanocomposit hydrogels was investigated as well.
