In this study mechanism of improvement of chemical stability of a 3-dimensional mesoporous structured FDU-12 silica were investigated using different inorganic salt in the synthesis process. The stability testing results indicate that the obtained mesoporous products in the presence of the inorganic salts have good structural stability in Model Wine (MW, pH 3.7) and MES buffer solution (MES, pH 6.0) under oscillating conditions for up to 30 days. KCl is the optimum salt for the best stability of FDU-12, while AlCl3 seems to be the worst one
