A comparative study of effective factors on FDI in developed and developing countries approach of marketing

چکیده

پ Foreign direct investment (FDI) can play a significant role in the development process of host economies. In addition to providing capital inflows, FDI can be a vehicle for obtaining foreign technology, knowledge, managerial skills, and other important inputs; for integrating into international marketing, distribution and production networks; and for improving the international competitiveness of firms and the economic performance of countries. While more and more countries welcome inward FDI, increased attention is being given to policies that can enhance the development benefits of such investment. For this purpose, this paper tries to discuss a comparative study effective factors on FDI in developed and developing countries approach of marketing in the period of 2000 to 2012 using panel data method. The results show that in developed countries the variables of the general change levels of the prices, the income of the market demandants in societies and the commercial share in international marketing level have positive effect and R&D and the price of production have negative effect on FDI. However, in developing countries variables of the income of market demandants in societies and commercial share in the level of international trading and the varieties of producer’s costs, and research and development costs and general price level changes respectively have .had positive and negative effects on FDI.
